Columbus OH

Even less than usual to report.  But what there is, is good.  We remain housebound in Columbus while Bobbi slowly heals.  Last week she went to the surgeon for followup, and he relaxed some of her restrictions.  Bending, lifting, and twisting are still prohibited, but she can walk as much as she feels like now.  Bobbi, being an impatient patient, immediately started getting out.  We went to mass two weekends now, Ash Wednesday a week ago, and a Bible study last night.  But she still has to sleep in a hospital bed, so we can't travel as yet.  She is hoping to be OK'd soon for physical therapy, and then she should be able to do a whole lot more things.

Well, it's not all good.  Anyone who is interested can go to weather.com and type in 43221 to see what we are putting up with.  A few days ago the low was in the single digits (with a little snow, thank you); tomorrow the high is to be in the 60's.  Good weather for the respiratory specialists.

The enforced inactivity does have some benefits.  Lew has been able to finish off the interior of the Airstream, with a new shower curtain and carpeting up both walls on the center bedroom (now all that really remains is to get the outside shined, but there certainly is no hurry about that).  And Bobbi has become such an internet junky that she only takes her eyes off the screen in order to eat and sleep (is that good or bad?).

More later.  But don't expect daily posts -- that is for when we are traveling.
