Columbus OH

We arrived in Columbus about 5:30 PM Sunday, having left Corbin KY about 10:30 AM.  The drive was quite unremarkable -- this all was freeway that we had been over many times.  Neither was docking the Airstream out of the ordinary -- just the usual tight fit.

The next few days were devoted to catching up -- Bobbi once again was going  to 8 AM mass, on Monday (the 29th) we spent the day showering, doing laundry, phoning doctors (including the vet) the Chevie dealer, and the Airstream polishers.  In the afternoon Lew went to the chiropractor because his back had been acting up the last couple of weeks.

Tuesday (the 30th) Lew spent the morning taking phone messages off the voice mail.  In the afternoon both of us drove Paul to the hospital.  Of course, we didn't get out of there until 7 PM.  By the time we returned to the house, there was time only for supper and showers before we fell in bed.

Today (the 31st) Lew picked up one of Bobbi's friends who had agreed to help with housecleaning and brought him over to the house, while Bobbi drove the van to the dealer for service.  The friend had been working with Paul during our vacation cleaning our the basement, and this day he went to work on a bedroom.  Bobbi phoned to be picked up, then got ready for a meeting at PCI (the prison).  When she returned in the middle of the afternoon, she began helping the friend with the cleaning, while Lew advised on items to be kept or discarded and caught up on accounts.
