Ha! Only ten days this time.

Again, little of note has happened since our last note (sic!). The only events have been medical - for the most part, our physical condition has kept us confined to the house, thus limiting the opportunities for any events. Lew considered himself lucky to get through mass two weeks running - but accomplished that only by sitting down most of the time.

Bobbi had a second epidural on Thursday, and says she feels noticeably better. But already today she insisted on going into the prison to work. We'll see tomorrow how wise a choice that was.

Lew's pain, on the other hand, always is more than yesterday, and less than tomorrow. Since it looks like there is no way to escape surgery, we will go for a second opinion on Tuesday. After that there will be the pre-surgical physical exam, then schedule the actual surgery.
